PINPOINT TEST B : The Power Release Seat Does Not Latch to the Floor: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

Refer to Seating .

Possible Causes: 

• Fuse
• Wiring, terminals or connectors
• Latch(es)
• Release cable(s)
• Latch release pull strap
• Power fold seat motor
• BCM

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks 

• Inspect the seat-to-floor latches on the seat track for damage.
• Verify that BJB fuse 61 (20A) is OK.
