PINPOINT TEST J : The Heated Seat Does Not Operate Correctly - RH Seat Does Heat But The Heated Seat Indicator Does Not Illuminate When Pressed
- J1 CHECK THE HEATED SEAT INDICATOR CIRCUITS FOR A SHORT TO GROUND
- Ignition OFF.
- Disconnect: Auxiliary Climate Control Assembly C3198A .
- Disconnect: Heated Seat Module C3304A .
Are the resistances greater than 10, 000 ohms?
Yes GO to J2. No REPAIR the circuit in question. - J2 CHECK THE HEATED SEAT INDICATOR CIRCUITS FOR AN OPEN
Are the resistances less than 3 ohms?
Yes GO to J3. No REPAIR the circuit in question. - J3 CHECK THE HEATED SEAT HIGH INDICATOR
- Connect: Auxiliary Climate Control Assembly C3198A .
- Disconnect: Heated Seat Module C3304B .
- Ignition ON.
- While observing the heated seat switch, momentarily connect a fused jumper wire between:
Positive Lead Measurement / Action Negative Lead C3304A-11 C3304B-1
Does the high indicator illuminate?
Yes GO to J4. No INSTALL a new auxiliary climate control assembly. REFER to Auxiliary Climate Control . - J4 CHECK THE HEATED SEAT LOW INDICATOR
- While observing the heated seat switch, momentarily connect a fused jumper wire between:
Positive Lead Measurement / Action Negative Lead C3304A-10 C3304B-1
Does the low indicator illuminate?
Yes INSTALL a new heated seat module. REFER to Heated Seat Module . No INSTALL a new auxiliary climate control assembly. REFER to Auxiliary Climate Control . - While observing the heated seat switch, momentarily connect a fused jumper wire between:
