Window Glass - Fixed, Rear Door: Removal

    NOTE: The door glass run and bracket are part of the rear window fixed glass assembly and cannot be serviced separately.

  1. 1.
    Remove the rear door panel. REFER to Interior Trim and Ornamentation .

  1. 2.

    Remove the rear door speaker. REFER to Information and Entertainment Systems Premium Plus .

  1. 3.

    Position aside the water shield.

  1. 4.

    Install the window control switch and position the door window glass to access the glass-to-regulator clamp locking tab.

  1. 5.

    Using a suitable tool, push the glass-to-regulator clamp locking tab inward then gently lift the glass upward slightly to release the glass from the regulator clamp.
    • To install, gently push glass down into the clamp until an audible click is heard, indicating the glass has seated correctly into the glass clamp.

  1. 6.

    While holding the door glass, carefully lower the regulator to the full DOWN position and allow the door glass to rest loosely on top of the regulator.

  1. 7.

    Loosen but do not remove the rear lower door window glass top run retainer bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

  1. 8.

    Remove the interior door window glass belt moulding.

  1. 9.

    Position aside the top run.

  1. 10.

    Remove the door window glass top run bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).

    NOTE: The door glass run and bracket are part of the rear window fixed glass assembly and cannot be serviced separately.

  1. 11.
    Remove the rear door fixed glass.
    • Tip the front of the fixed glass assembly down and pull the assembly out through the top inboard side of the door.
