Window Glass - Rear Quarter: Removal
- 1.
Remove the C-pillar trim panel. REFER to Interior Trim and Ornamentation - With Inflatable Safety Belts or REFER to Interior Trim and Ornamentation - Without Inflatable Safety Belts. .

Remove the D-pillar trim panel. REFER to Interior Trim and Ornamentation .
- 3.
From the outside of the vehicle, using the Pneumatic Knife with Offset Blade, cut the top portion of glass.
NOTE:
Lubricate the existing urethane adhesive with water to aid the 300-AST1770E while cutting.
NOTE:
To avoid rust formation, use extreme care not to scratch the paint or primer, or otherwise damage the pinch weld during glass removal.

- 4.
From inside the vehicle, using the 300-AST1770E, cut the glass starting at the upper C-pillar and work down, across the bottom, then upward toward the upper D-pillar.
NOTE:
Lubricate the existing urethane adhesive with water to aid the 300-AST1770E while cutting.
NOTE:
Insert the blade into the 300-AST1770E so that the flat side is against the glass. This will leave the entire urethane adhesive bead on the pinch weld and allow a dry fit of the replacement rear quarter glass.
