Normal Operations and Fault Conditions

The LTM receives battery voltage at all times through the BCM fuse 9 (10A) and BJB fuse 7 (30A). The LTM has a dedicated ground circuit.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

DTC	Description	Fault Trigger Conditions
B1179	Latch Motor Circuit Short to Battery	A continuous memory and on-demand DTC that sets when the LTM detects a short to voltage on the latch motor circuit(s) for more than 1 second.
B117A	Latch Motor Circuit Short to Ground	A continuous memory and on-demand DTC that sets when the LTM detects a short to ground on the latch motor circuit(s) for more than 1 second.
B117B	Latch Motor Circuit Open	A continuous memory and on-demand DTC that sets when the LTM detects an open on the latch motor circuit(s). The LTM determines the circuit(s) is open when it detects no current change upon latch motor activation.
B2552	Vbatt 2 Circuit Open	A continuous memory and on-demand DTC that sets when the LTM detects less than 4 volts on the high current voltage feed circuit and the logic voltage feed circuit is greater than 8 volts.
B2819	Gate Motor Circuit Short to Battery	A continuous memory and on-demand DTC that sets when the LTM detects a short to battery on the power liftgate motor circuit(s) for more than 1 second.
B2936	Gate Motor Open	A continuous memory and on-demand DTC that sets when the LTM detects an open on the power liftgate motor circuit(s). The LTM determines the circuit(s) is open when it detects no current change upon liftgate motor activation.
B2937	Gate Motor Short to Ground	A continuous memory and on-demand DTC that sets when the LTM detects a short to ground on the power liftgate motor circuit(s) for more than 1 second.
