PINPOINT TEST G : The Power Liftgate Does Not Power Open (Power Close Ok): Notes

Normal Operations and Fault Conditions 

If the power liftgate is in the closed position and the conditions are correct, the LTM supplies voltage to the unlatch/cinching motor to unlatch the liftgate from the striker. Once the liftgate is unlatched, it supplies voltage to the motor to open the liftgate. As the liftgate is moving in the open direction, the LTM monitors the position sensor for door speed to detect obstacles. If the LTM determines that the latch does not unlatch or the power liftgate does not move once it is unlatched, it aborts the power open operation.
