Removal And Installation: Installation
- Position the power liftgate chime to the right inner D-pillar in the vehicle (1).
- Engage the retainer integral to the chime housing into the hole in the inner D-pillar.
- Connect the chime wire harness connector.
- Engage the retainer integral to the chime pigtail wire connector with the hole in the inner D-pillar.
- Install the quarter trim panel to the lower right inner D-pillar. Refer to PANEL, D-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the scuff plate to the liftgate opening sill. Refer to PLATE, SCUFF, LIFTGATE SILL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
