Global Telematics Box Module: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) from the instrument panel cover. Refer to MODULE, INTEGRATED CENTER STACK (ICSM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector (5), USB connector (4) and antenna connectors (3) from the Global Telematics Box Module (TBM2) (2).
  4. Remove the screws from the TBM2 mounting bracket (1) that secure the TBM2 (2) to the bracket.
  5. Remove the TBM2 (2) from the vehicle.
