Passenger Seat: Installation

  1. Align and position the MSM (1) to the seat bottom.
  2. Engage the MSM tabs to the seat bottom, securing the module to the bottom of the seat. Align the rear tabs first and then flush the module to the seat by engaging the front module tab to the seat bottom.

  3. Connect the wiring harness connections (1) to the MSM (2).
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), Connect the IBS connector.
  5. Perform the Power Seat System Verification test. Refer to POWER SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST .
