Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the mode door actuator, bracket, and CAM assembly (2) by aligning the door valves into the respective CAM pathways.
  2. Install the mode door actuator assembly bolts (1). Tighten the bolts securely.
  3. Position the demister and defroster levers into their respective positions (3) and install the lever bolts (4). Tighten the bolts securely.
  4. Connect the mode door actuator wire harness connector (5).
  5. Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  7. Calibrate the A/C heater control. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
