Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the right quarter trim panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Disconnect both of the blower motor module electrical connectors (1).
  4. Remove the two blower motor module to HVAC housing screws (2).
  5. Disengage the rear blower motor power module from the HVAC housing and remove the module (3).
