Removal And Installation: Fwd: Removal
- Remove hub and bearing assembly. Refer to HUB AND BEARING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the splash shield to knuckle fasteners (1).
- Remove the toe link. Refer to LINK, TOE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove shock absorber. Refer to SHOCK ABSORBER, SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Place a suitable support under the knuckle (2) near the shock absorber.
- Remove the trailing arm to knuckle fasteners (3).
- Remove camber link to knuckle fastener (3).
- Carefully lower the jack down and remove the spring, jounce bumper, and upper isolator together as an assembly.
- Remove the spring link to knuckle fastener (4).
- Remove the knuckle from the vehicle.
