Removal And Installation: Removal
- Remove the rear wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Position a suitable jack under the knuckle (2) to hold pressure on the knuckle.
- Remove the shock absorber to knuckle fastener (1).
- Remove the upper shock absorber to body fasteners (1).
- Remove the shock absorber (2).
- Using special tool (special tool #2027800020, Kit, Remover - Installer Shock / Strut) to remove the upper shock absorber to upper mount mounting fastener (4) and remove upper the shock absorber mount (3) from the shock absorber (2)
