Front Wiper Arm: Removal
- Open the hood.
- Carefully pry the plastic nut cap (2) from the nut opening on the pivot end of the wiper arm (1).
- Remove the nut (2) that secures the wiper arm (1) to the wiper pivot shaft.
- Lift the front wiper arm to its over-center position to hold the wiper blade from the glass and relieve the spring tension on the wiper arm to pivot shaft connection.
- Use a slight rocking action to disengage the front wiper arm (1) pivot end from the pivot shaft and remove the wiper arm.
- Remove the wiper arm pivot end from the pivot shaft.
