Rear Wiper Motor: Installation
- If removed, press a NEW
rubber grommet (2) to the rear wiper motor output shaft clearance hole located in the liftgate glass.
- Position the rear wiper motor (3) to the liftgate inner panel while guiding the output shaft through the rubber grommet in the liftgate glass.
- Install the one bolt and two nuts (1) to secure the rear wiper motor (3) to the liftgate inner panel. Tighten the fasteners to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the liftgate wire harness connector (2) to the rear wiper motor connector receptacle.
- Install the trim to the inside of the liftgate. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the rear wiper arm on the motor output shaft. Refer to ARM, WIPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
