To activate the headlamp washers, turn the ignition to RUN or ACC, the headlamps ON and then press the front windshield washer control knob. This will operate the windshield washers and direct timed high pressure sprays on each headlamp lens.
With the windshield washers activated, the headlamp washers will spray once or twice for a predetermined interval determined by the Body Control Module (BCM) programming. If the BCM is programmed for a double shot, then there will be an OFF period or "soak" period of 2.5 seconds between spray shots.
