Disconnect the fresh air makeup hose (1) from the air cleaner body.

Loosen the air cleaner housing cover retaining screws (2).

Lift the cover and remove the air cleaner element.
CAUTION:
Do not use compressed air to clean out the air cleaner housing without first covering the air inlet to the throttle body. Dirt or foreign objects could enter the intake manifold causing engine damage.
Remove any dirt or debris from the bottom of the air cleaner housing.
