Removal And Installation: Bank-1-Solenoid-1: Installation

  1. Inspect the Variable Valve Lift (VVL) solenoid O-ring seal and replace if necessary.

  2. Insert the VVL solenoid into the cylinder head cover.
  3. Install the retaining bolt (2) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Connect the wire harness connector (1) to the VVL solenoid.

  5. Install the fuel vapor tube assembly.

  6. Connect the fuel vapor line (1).
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
