Removal And Installation - AWD: Removal

The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is mounted into the right rear side of the cylinder block.

1. Remove the power transfer unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor wire harness connector (1).

3. Remove the CKP sensor bolt (1).

4. Carefully twist the CKP sensor (1) and remove from the cylinder block.

5. The CKP sensor O-ring (1) can be reused if not damaged.
