Removal And Installation - AWD: Installation
- Position the muffler pipe assembly (1) to the vehicle.CAUTION:
Do not use any tools to remove the rubber isolators, remove by hand only. Soapy water or silicone based lubricant spray may be used to assist removal/installation of isolators. DO NOT use a petroleum based lubricant on the isolators, as damage to the rubber material can occur.
- Install the support isolators (1) to the muffler pipe assembly.
- Install the support isolators (1, 2) to the muffler pipe assembly.
- Install the support isolator (2) to the muffler pipe assembly.
- Connect the muffler pipe assembly to the cross-under pipe and tighten the clamp (1) to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the rear sway bar (2) and tighten the fasteners (1, 3) to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
- Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. Make the necessary adjustments, if needed.
