Removal And Installation - Fwd: Removal

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION and/or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Remove the bolts (1) from the left catalytic converter flange.

Remove the two cross-under pipe support bolts (1).

Loosen the band clamp nut (1) from the right catalytic converter flange then using the (special tool #2049500110, Pliers, Exhaust System PSA) to spread open the exhaust clamp.

Remove the bolts (1) from the cross-under pipe isolator mounts.

Position a jack or suitable stand under the exhaust pipe.
Loosen the clamp nut (1) from the cross-under pipe and exhaust pipe then using the (special tool #2049500110, Pliers, Exhaust System PSA) to spread open the exhaust clamp.

Remove the cross-under pipe from vehicle and discard the flange gasket.
