Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the fasteners (2) and position the belly pans aside. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION and/or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the dash heat shield fasteners (1) and remove the dash heat shield.
  3. Remove the muffler assembly. Refer to MUFFLER, EXHAUST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  4. Remove the front muffler heat shield fasteners (1).

  5. With the underbody belly pans positioned aside, remove the front muffler heat shield.

  6. Remove the tub heat shield fasteners (1).

  7. Remove the tub heat shield.

  8. Remove the mid-muffler heat shield fasteners (1) and remove the mid-muffler heat shield.

  9. Remove the fasteners (1) and reposition the rear underbody belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  10. Remove the rear muffler heat shield fasteners (2).

  11. Remove the rear muffler heat shield.
