Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 

1. Press the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read Radio Frequency Hub Module (RFHM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
3. Press the Start button with the front of the Key Fob for 2 seconds, if the ignition status does not change to ACC, read DTCs.
4. Press the ignition on.
5. With the scan tool, read RFHM DTCs.

   Is the DTC active?

   Yes 

   • Replace the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) in accordance with Service Information. Refer to MODULE, KEYLESS IGNITION NODE (KIN), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
   • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

   No - Single Occurrence 

   • Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .

   No - Multiple Occurrences 

   • Replace the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) in accordance with Service Information. Refer to MODULE, KEYLESS IGNITION NODE (KIN), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
   • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
