Ajar Switch - Stand Alone: Switch

Unlatch and open the hood.
Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery.
From the top of the hood ajar switch mounting hole, squeeze the two switch latch tabs together and pull the switch upward.
Pull the hood ajar switch up through the mounting hole far enough to access and disconnect the wire harness connector and remove switch from vehicle.
