Removal - Lamp With Individual Bezel
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove the headliner.
- Lower the portion of the headliner (1) where the courtesy lamp is located enough to gain access to the courtesy lamp housing (3). Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect the roof wire harness connector (2) from courtesy lamp (3).
- Using a C-4755 trim stick or equivalent, gently pry the courtesy lamp bezel (2) from the headliner (1) to release the courtesy lamp (3) and remove the lamp from the headliner.
