Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  2. Disconnect the wire harness connector (3) from the back of the headlamp switch (1).
  3. Using a trim stick or equivalent tool, depress the retainers (2) that secure the headlamp switch to the steering column opening cover (3).
  4. Remove the headlamp switch from the cover.
