Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Push in on the tab (1) to release the quick disconnect and remove the hose from the PCV valve.

3. Release the lock tab (2) and turn the PCV valve (1) clockwise and pull out to remove from the right cylinder head cover.

INSTALLATION

1. Clean and inspect the sealing surfaces of the PCV valve and cylinder head cover. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.

2. Install the PCV valve (1) into the cylinder head cover and turn counter clockwise until the lock (2) engages in place.

3. Install the PCV hose (1) onto the PCV valve.
4. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
