Removal And Installation: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove left rear wheel splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- Disconnect the quick disconnect fittings (1) and (2) from the vapor canister.
- Disconnect the Evaporative System Integrity Monitor (ESIM) switch wire harness connector (2).
- Remove the nut (1) and loosen the nuts (3) then slide the vapor canister out from behind the fasteners (3) and remove from vehicle.
