Shudder Or Vibration During Acceleration

SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE REPAIR
Shudder or vibration on acceleration.
  • Engine rotating beyond limits.
  • Worn or damaged halfshaft inner tripod joint.
  • Severely worn or damaged suspension or steering component.
  • Front end severely out of alignment.
  • Replace damaged or worn engine/transmission mounts.
  • Replace the halfshaft.
  • Replace worn or damaged suspension or steering component.
  • Align the front end. Refer to WHEEL ALIGNMENT, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
