Removal And Installation: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Remove the left D-pillar. Refer to PANEL, D-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the switch (1).
- Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, carefully depress the switch retaining tabs to separate the power liftgate switch from the D-Pillar.
