The power sliding door wire harness (4) supplies battery power, ground and various hardwired and data bus electrical signals to the power sliding door components and the rear door control module for various power door functions. The harness connects at the B-pillar at one end (1) and the sliding door at the other. It is secured to the body with push pin style retainers (2 AND 3). A plastic chain or wiring track covers the wire harness assembly and is used to protect the wire harness from abrasion and/or tangling. This wiring track is replaced with the wire harness assembly. The wire harness assembly also supplies the connection for the second row seating side impact sensors (5). Should the harness be damaged it should be replaced as a complete assembly.
