Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the B-pillar trim panel. Refer to PANEL, B-PILLAR TRIM, LOWER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or PANEL, B-PILLAR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Press in the tabs (1) on the top and bottom of the B-pillar switch (2).
  4. Remove the B-pillar switch (2) from the B-pillar trim panel.
