Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Open and close the door several times.
3. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Test complete. The condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals and correct pin tension.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
CHECK FOR EXCESSIVE RESISTANCE IN THE (G75) DRIVER DOOR AJAR SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the Driver Door Latch harness connector.
3. Disconnect the BCM C6 harness connector.
4. Measure the resistance of the (G75) Driver Door Ajar Switch Sense circuit between the Driver Door Latch harness connector and the BCM C6 harness connector.
  Is the resistance below 3.0 Ohms?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 3
  No
  - Repair the (G75) Driver Door Ajar Switch Sense circuit for high resistance.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
CHECK FOR EXCESSIVE RESISTANCE IN THE (G755) DRIVER DOOR SECONDARY AJAR SWITCH CIRCUIT
1. Measure the resistance of the (G755) Driver Door Secondary Ajar Switch circuit between the Driver Door Latch harness connector and the BCM C6 harness connector.
  Is the resistance below 3.0 Ohms?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 4
  No
  - Repair the (G755) Driver Door Secondary Ajar Switch circuit for high resistance.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
CHECK THE DOOR LATCH FOR CORRECT OPERATION
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Connect a jumper across the (G755) Driver Door Secondary Ajar Switch circuit and Ground at the Door Latch harness connector.
3. Turn the ignition on.
4. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display DTC: B25C7-SECONDARY DRIVER DOOR AJAR-CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Door Latch in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Replace the Body Control Module (BCM) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, BODY CONTROL (BCM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
