The generator is mounted to the left front of the engine block and is driven by the accessory drive belt.
The battery cable is mounted to the B+ post (1) on the back of the generator.
The voltage regulator in contained in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
The control circuits (2) are connected to the back of the generator.
