Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR OTHER PARK LOCK DTCS
1. With the scan tool, read Transmission Control Module (TCM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
  Are any other Park Lock related DTCs set?
  
  Yes
  - Repair other Park Lock related DTCs. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
  - Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 2
CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. With the scan tool, read TCM DTCs.
2. Record the Event Data and Environmental Data.
3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
4. Using the recorded Event and Environmental Data, along with the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
5. With the scan tool, read TCM DTCs.
  Did the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 3
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
INSPECT VALVE BODY AND PARK LOCK VALVES
1. Remove the Valve Body. Refer to VALVE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
2. Inspect the Park Lock Valves for sticking, burrs, and debris.
3. Inspect the Valve Body Park Lock bores for debris, burrs, and damage.
4. Inspect the related Valve Body oil pressure passages for restrictions and debris.
  Were any problems found?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the necessary repairs in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 4
CHECK CLUTCH C PRESSURE REGULATOR SOLENOID
1. Remove the Clutch C Pressure Control Solenoid.
2. Inspect the Clutch C Pressure Control Solenoid for damage, debris and sticking.
3. Inspect the Valve Body Solenoid bore and oil pressure passages for debris and damage.
  Where any problems found?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the necessary repairs in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Replace the Valve body in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to VALVE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  - Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST .
