Set Condition
- A failure is detected if one of the following conditions occur:
- A short to battery voltage failure is detected if the sensor supply voltage is greater than 9.6 volts for a calibrated amount of time.
- A short to ground or open circuit failure is detected if the sensor supply voltage is less than 3.4 volts for a calibrated amount of time.
- A failure is detected if both the input and output speed sensors are reporting an electrical failure within a fixed amount of time.
