When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

• Requested gearbox position is DRIVE.
• No failure in requested gearbox position signal.
• Requested driving mode is equal to bit-coded switch.
• 5-4 downshift in progress.
• Coast mode detected.
• No failure in input speed signal.
• No failure in output speed signal.
• No failure in steering angle signal.
• No failure in lateral acceleration signal.
• No failure in barometric air pressure signal.
• No failure in inclination signal.
• No failure in accelerator pedal position signal.
• No failure in braking pressure signal.
• No failure in engine torque signal.
• No failure in crankshaft torque signal.
• Gearbox oil temperature lower than a calibrated value.
• Gearbox oil temperature greater than a calibrated value.
• Dog clutch not yet actuated.
• Absolute value of lateral acceleration lower than a calibrated value.
• Absolute value of steering angle lower than a calibrated value.
• Barometric air pressure greater than a calibrated value.
• Input speed within a calibrated value.
• Absolute value of inclination signal lower than a calibrated value.
• Accelerator pedal position lower than a calibrated value.
• Braking pressure lower than a calibrated value.
• Positive engine torque request active.
