Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the washer solvent fill tube mounting bolt (2), and remove the fill tube from the vehicle.
  3. Disconnect the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) electrical connector (1).
  4. Remove the four Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module to hydraulic control unit (HCU) mounting bolts (3).
  5. Carefully separate the ABS module from the HCU.
  6. Remove the ABS module from the vehicle.
