Removal And Installation: Rear: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the trim panel from the inside of the sliding rear door. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the screws (1, 2) that secure the module to the rear door hardware module carrier.
  4. Remove the rear door control module from the carrier.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2) from each of the rear door control module (1) connector receptacles and remove from the vehicle.
