Theory Of Operation

The Heated Seat Module (HSM) controls the Vented Seat motor in each seat cushion and seat back. It receives requests via CAN - IHS Bus from the Body Control Module (BCM) and provides outputs to the designated Vented Seat motor. The Vented Seat motors are powered by a fuse located in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) and operate using a low side driver.
