Theory Of Operation

The Rear Cabin Comfort Controls (RCCC) is the customer interface control for the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning-Rear (HVAC-R). The RCCC receives a direct Battery B(+) feed from the Power Distribution Center (PDC) and has a body ground. Actuating a function by the use of any RCCC button, switch or knob sends a signal via CAN IHS through the CAN IHS Star Connector to the HVAC-R module.
