Sensors, Speed: Description

The Input Speed Sensor and Output Seed Sensor are located inside the transmission under the valve body. The sensors are combined into a single unified component.

The E clutch drum serves as the tone wheel for the input speed sensor and the transfer gear contains the tone wheel for the output speed sensor.

The speed sensors are part of the internal wiring harness and also includes the Transmission Range Sensor (TRS). If the speed sensors require service. Refer to HARNESS, INTERNAL WIRE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
