Removal And Installation: Removal
- Remove the valve body from the transmission. Refer to VALVE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Place the valve body on a clean work surface supported on each end by wooden blocks with the outer half facing upward.
- Remove the screws (1) holding the solenoid retaining plates to the outer valve body.
- Separate the small solenoid retaining plate (1) from the valve body.
- Separate the large solenoid retaining plate (1) from the valve body.
- Position the valve body so the inner valve body (1) is on top.
- Pull the solenoid valves (3) straight out of the outer valve body (2).
- Remove the parking lock valve (1) from the outer valve body (2).
