Manual Park Release (MPR) Lever Installation

  1. Position the Manual Park Release (MPR) lever in the vehicle.
  2. Connect the MPR cable to the MPR lever.

  3. Position the MPR lever in place, install the MPR lever bolts (1) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install the closeout panel.
  5. Release the parking brake.
  6. Verify proper operation.
