Removal And Installation: Fwd: Removal
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the front crossmember. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, FRONT SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect the outer tie rod end from the steering knuckle.
- Remove the lower stabilizer bar link mounting fasteners (3) from the stabilizer bar.
- Remove the stabilizer bar bracket fasteners (2).
- Remove the stabilizer bar brackets.
- Separate the stabilizer bar (1) from the front crossmember:
- Inspect the bushings and brackets for wear or damage.
