Front Sensor: Installation
- Position the front impact sensor (2) to the back of the cooling module support (4), below the front lamp unit support member. Be certain that the locating and anti-rotation pin on the back of the sensor is engaged in the clearance hole of the closure panel.
- Install the screw (1) that secures the sensor to the cooling module support. Tighten the screw to the proper. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector (3) to the sensor connector receptacle.
- Do not connect the negative battery cable at this time. The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Verification Test procedure should be performed following service of any SRS component. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
