Removal And Installation: Right: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the passenger side knee blocker air bag. Refer to AIR BAG, KNEE BLOCKER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the glove box. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Remove the right side floor distribution duct. Refer to DUCT, FLOOR DISTRIBUTION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  5. Disconnect the wire harness connector (3) from the blend door actuator (1).
  6. Remove the blend door actuator mounting bolts (2).
  7. Remove the blend door actuator (1) from the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) housing.
