Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the rear blower motor (1) into the HVACR housing.
  2. Install the screws (3) that secure the rear blower motor to the HVACR housing.
  3. Connect the blower motor wire harness connector (2).

  4. Position the HVACR housing (3) into the vehicle.
  5. Install the HVACR housing to inner quarter panel bolts (2). Tighten the bolts securely.
  6. Install the rear ceiling distribution duct. Refer to DUCT, CEILING DISTRIBUTION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the rear floor distribution duct. Refer to DUCT, FLOOR DISTRIBUTION, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  8. Install the A/C line to body nut (1). Tighten the nut securely.
  9. Install the right rear wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  10. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
