Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Install a NEW  gasket onto the EGR valve.

  2. Install the EGR valve and tighten the nuts (1) to the proper specifications. Refer to EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  3. Connect the EGR valve wire harness connector.
  4. Connect the EGR cooler hose (1) to the EGR valve and secure the clamp.
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
