Removal And Installation: Removal
- Remove the ignition coils. Refer to COIL, IGNITION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Using compressed air, blow out any dirt or contaminates from around the top of the spark plugs.
- Remove the cylinder head cover(s). Refer to COVER(S), CYLINDER HEAD, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the top half of the (special tool #2024900090, Installer, Spark Plug Tube) (1) into the spark plug tube to be removed (2).
- Using suitable locking pliers (1), remove the spark plug tube (2) from the cylinder head and discard the tube.
- Clean the area around the spark plug tube mounting with Mopar® Parts Cleaner or equivalent.
